Etap becomes SEREPT partner on the fields DST

The Tunisian Enterprise of Petroleum Activities (Etap) bought the rights for hydrocarbons in PA Resources.

The purchase contract was signed Friday, May 6, 2016 in the presence of Mongi Marzoug, Minister of Energy and Mines, Zakaria Hamad, Minister of Industry, and Ridha Ben Mosbeh, Minister for Economic Issues to the Head government, a statement from the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

This sale contract shall include among others the Zarat permit, concession Dido and Douleb concessions Semmama Tamesmida and was signed by Mohamed Akrout, CEO of Etap, and Mark Mc Allister on behalf of PA Resources.

This, first of its kind in Tunisia, was carried on economically favorable terms. It secures additional reserves of hydrocarbons countries. It is also "a major operation for Etap because it offers him the opportunity to better control the development of the discoveries of gas fields in the Gulf of Gabes", and a first for the company that "accesses the operator role hydrocarbons in production, and thus attains the rank of players in the oil sector, "the statement said.
