The Whys ?

The RSV's (LSR's) sole objective is the protection of any person from any serious accident risk that might engender irreversible and even fatal lesions and aftereffects.

According to the Tunisian Labour Code, worker compliance with the prescriptions relating to health and safety at work is a legal obligation. Then the worker must not commit any act or violation likely to impede the implementation of such prescriptions (Article 152 of the Labour Code).

Worker non-compliance with the health and safety prescriptions at work or negligence as to taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of the personnel under one's responsibility or to save the objects one is entrusted with is considered or serious professional fault (Article 14 of the Labour Code).

The must do's

Any SEREPT employee or contractor must obligatorily be trained in all standards and procedures implementing the life-saving rules.

The Must Do's hereafter are to be abided by :

• Never admit RSV (LSR) violation for whatever reason ; violations shall result in disciplinary sanctions ;
• Permanently have at one's disposal on all the sites standards and procedures of RSV (LSR) implementation ;
• Ensure and individually document training and re-training of all the staff as to RSV Implementation ;
• Check through the hierarchy know-ledge, comprehension and absolute compliance with the RSV’s (LSR’s) and correct all forms of violations through Hi-Pot analysis.
