The Ashtart platforms have a diversity of systems infrastructures, in ages and types, that reflects the progressive development achieved in this field. The condition of existing facilities imposes limits on the operation and the ability to drive maximum benefits from current development consisting of carrying on, in addition to the 'Sidetrack' of four existing wells (2009 - 2010), the Revamp of Ashtart facilities (between 2007 and 2011) to achieve the following objectives:
• Increase or maintain the current oil production and extend the artificial lift capacity (ESP’s and Gas lift) to cope with the future needs for artificial lift up to 2025.
